ENG 220 - Introduction to English Studies

Credits: 3

This course introduces students to the key components of reading and writing in the field, with an emphasis on close reading techniques and academic research. The course is open to any student interested in English studies and is required for the English major.
Prerequisite: ENG 101 , ENG 102 /ENG 103 , and at least one semester of Literature
Corequisite: Required Literature course can be taken as a co-requisite.
Offered: Fall, even-numbered years
