BIO 440 - Invertebrate Zoology Credits: 4
This course examines the diversity of aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates. Students will survey the invertebrate phyla, with emphasis on morphology, internal anatomy, systematics, evolution, and ecology. The laboratory will include examination of specimens from various phyla, student dissections, and individual collections of invertebrates by students. Prerequisite: BIO 111 /BIO 115 and BIO 112 /BIO 116 Corequisite: BIO 440L Offered: Spring, even-numbered years
