BIO 345 - Preparation for Professions in Science


Credits: 1

This course is designed to introduce science majors to post-graduate opportunities and help students apply for external research and/or graduate programs. Students will submit documents typically required for applications, such as curriculum vitae, statements of research Interests, and personal statements. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate the ability to find, apply for, and prepare for positions in science. Students regularly meet with science faculty at the University and/or guest speakers working in science-related fields. Distribution: Math & Science.
Prerequisite: BIO 111 , BIO 115 , or CHE 111
