EDU 313 - Language Literacy

Credits: 3

The course addresses the principles and foundations of literacy development, methods and assessment strategies that support literacy development, and classroom practice which emphasizes the organizational and planning aspects of literacy instruction. Professional dispositions will be assessed. A 10-hour field experience and fee are associated with the course and must be completed prior to receiving an end of course grade.
Prerequisite: Admittance into the teacher education program
