NUR 301 - Pharmacology

Credits: 3

Principles of basic pharmacology which includes drug classifications, pathophysiologic basis for drug therapy, and special considerations for drug administration. Responsibilities of the professional nurse in patient-centered, safe, effective medication administration are emphasized.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program
Corequisite: NUR 303 , NUR 321 , & NUR 346
