MAT 231 - Statistics

Credits: 3

In this course, we will introduce the key concepts of statistics, focusing on descriptive statistics, probability, and inferential statistics, including estimation and hypothesis testing. This course is intended to be useful to students from a variety of disciplines.
Prerequisite: Grade of “C-” or better in MAT 112 , a math ACT score of 20, or an equivalent sub-score on an appropriate placement test
