CJ 550 - Current Issues in Homeland Security

This course examines the history of homeland security, including fundamental concepts, policies, and strategies of prevention and response. Specific topics include ethical issues, telecommunications, technology, threat assessment, contingency planning, and risk management. Students apply concepts and principles of homeland security to case studies and current issues.
Prerequisite: CJ 501 , CJ 502 , and CJ 503 .
