CHE 322 - Green Chemistry

Credits: 4

This course will introduce the practice of green chemistry which aims to reduce the hazards and improve the sustainability of chemical production and use. The course emphasizes the twelve principles of green chemistry developed by the American Chemical Society including pollution prevention, zero waste, and ecocompatible techniques in relation to chemical processes.
Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3
Prerequisite: CHE 212  must be taken previously or concurrently
