PHIL 102 - The Fundamentals of Ethics

Credits: 3

Ethics is the branch of philosophy that is concerned with how we ought to live and what kind of person we ought to be.  This course is an introduction to ethics.  It will explore different approaches and answers to a number of ethical questions, such as: What is the good life? What makes an action morally right or wrong? Can we really know what is morally rght from what is morally wrong? In addition, this course will examine present-day ethical issues in connection with central  course questions.
