PHIL 330 - Philosophy of Religion

This course is an examination of several important topics in the philosophy of religion, with a focus on monotheism: the belief in one all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good creator God.  Topics to be covered include: classic arguments for God’s existence, the rationality of religious faith in the absence of proof, the evidential value of relgious expericence, the problem of evil, and the problem of divine hiddenness.
Prerequisite: PHIL 101
