BUS 360 - Principles of Supply Chain Management

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of modern Supply Chain Management. Students explore the full spectrum of activities involved in designing, managing, and improving supply
chains in both domestic and global contexts. Topics include purchasing and supplier relationship management, ethical and sustainable sourcing, demand forecasting, resource planning systems, inventory management, lean and Six Sigma process improvement, logistics, customer relationship management, and global location decisions. Emphasis is placed on integrating supply, operations, and distribution functions to create efficient, responsive, and ethically responsible supply chains. By the end of the course, students will understand how coordinated supply chain processes enhance organizational performance and deliver value to customers.
Prerequisite: BUS 300  , BUS 330 , and Junior Standing
