BIO 204 - Animal Anatomy and Physiology

This course introduces the core concepts of anatomy and physiology as they relate to domestic farm animals. It provides an overview of the major body systems, including the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, renal, and reproductive systems, with emphasis on the relationship between structure and function. Students will explore the physiological processes common to all species and examine key differences in form and function among domestic animals.
Prerequisite: BIO 115   and BIO 116  
Corequisite: BIO 204L
