BIO 320 - Small Scale Agriculture Production Credits: 3
This course explores the scientific, practical, and economic foundations of small-scale agricultural production systems. Students will examine how small farms, homesteads, and diversified agricultural enterprises contribute to local food systems, community development, and environmental sustainability. Emphasis is placed on biological principles, sustainable management, resource efficiency, and business planning for small operations in the United States. Prerequisite: BIO 115 and BIO 116 Offered: Spring Odd-Numbered Years
