NUR 444 - Medical Surgical Nursing III

Credits: 7

This culminating Medical-Surgical Nursing course builds upon prior nursing knowledge with an emphasis on the care of critically ill adult patients. Students develop advanced clinical reasoning and care management skills across critical care, step-down, and telemetry settings, withfocused study in emergency nursing, complex surgical care, and high-acuity multisystem conditions. Four hourstheory and three hours clinical/simulation lab.

Prerequisite: NUR 347  & NUR 400  
Corequisite: NUR 447  & NUR 448
