ENG 423 - Film Studies

Credits: 3

This course will look at a variety of landmark films and the critical debates they have spawned. The films presented represent an historical overview of the evolution of this art form. Students will watch films in class and read theoretical works about the films for discussion.
Prerequisite: ENG 101 , ENG 102 /ENG 103 , and at least one semester of Literature
Offered: Fall, odd-numbered years
