NUR 344 - Medical Surgical Nursing I

Credits: 7

This course introduces adult health nursing, emphasizing evidence-based, patient-centered care and the nurse’s role as leader, advocate, and caregiver. Students develop foundational clinical reasoning skills across body systems while providing care in community and acute care settings. Four hours theory and three hours clinical/simulation lab.
Lecture Hours: 4 Clinical/Lab Hours: 3
Prerequisite: NUR 343 , NUR 353 , & NUR 443  
Corequisite: NUR 441
