MAT 340 - Introduction to Numerical Analysis

Credits: 3

An introduction to numerical analysis including error calculations, root finding methods, interpolation, differentiation, and integration. Additional topics to be chosen by the instructor. This course will use a mathematical programming language, and it is recommended that students have previous computational experience.
Prerequisite: MAT 241 ; MAT 235  or MAT 261 ; or permission of instructor
Offered: Spring, odd-numbered years
