MUA 162 - Beginning Piano Class II

Credits: 3

This course is intended for students who have some background in piano or have taken Beginning Piano Class I. Scales are the primary focus for this course, and students will apply their scale knowledge through repertoire, chord playing, playing by ear, sight-reading, harmonizing, and improvising.
Prerequisite: MUA 161  with a grade of C- or higher or instructor permission
